We did it. At midnight on 10/20/2010,
we had the website up and running. We went live. After that, we went out for some late night food and stayed up way too late. But, it is fun to stay up late in a restaurant every now and then, just talking about how wonderful and brilliant you are. So, I stayed up way later than I should, after spending too many nights and days working hard and staying up later than I should. But... I made my deadline, and that means.... DISNEYLAND! Wednesday, after staying up way too late, we slept in and then we took the day off work, and we headed to
"The Happiest Place on Earth" for some fun. Now, I love Disneyland. I grew up her in Orange County, have pretty much always had an annual pass to go, and I love it. I see it for all the magic that it is, and believe me, that place is magic, you just need to know where it is. So, when asked what I wanted to do, Disneyland was the clear answer. So, we met at the office and then headed over. We made it a peaceful day, no rushing, just taking it slow, and enjoying the change of pace. The first thing we did when we got there was go to visit the princesses. I have seen the princesses, but not for a while, and the last few times we had missed them, they had been away getting ready for the Halloween Party they have at night.
So this time, we saw some princesses, which was fun. Next we headed over to Tomorrow Land to get some food with only a brief stop for a ride with very little line. After food, another ride. We finished out the day with one more ride and a little walking and people watching. It was a fun day at Disneyland. And after making our way back down Main Street, we headed back to the car, and made a stop for some fresh donuts on the way back to the office to pick up our cars so we could call it a day.
