Whether you’re just starting out in the professional audio scene, or if you’re a veteran who’s shipping quality content on a budget, Varantic Indie is for you.
Give Varantic a few takes of a sound effect you like. Varantic will analyze the sound in the same way that humans do, picking apart all the frequencies and the order they occur, until it’s able to understand the core DNA of the sound. Once Varantic is trained on all your inputs, press the play button to hear a new take of that sound effect! If you like it, you can save the new take as a WAV file. Otherwise, you can just press the play button again and again to hear a bunch of takes, each one different from the last.
When your sound effect database has the right content, but you need more of a particular sound, reach for Varantic. Varantic’s state-of-the-art frequency analysis system is like nothing you’ve ever heard before. It pulls sound effect takes apart, recombinates them, and rebuilds them into new takes. For sounds like footsteps, destruction sounds, and clothing sounds, Varantic’s newly generated takes sound just as good as the originals… except they sound like alternate takes!
The Sources panel lets you see the duration of all the files you’ve dragged and dropped into Varantic. It’s handy for making sure you’ve provided the right input.
The Properties panel shows you all the details on your input files, without having to open them in a separate DAW.
You can audition your generated sounds right within Varantic. Press Play to generate a new sound; press Replay to hear the last sound again; and press Save to save the last sound to a file of your choice.
Varantic Indie is the ideal product to get started with the future of procedural sound generation. If you need even more features, check out Varantic Pro. Varantic Pro supports output length control, export to multiple file formats and bit rates, custom file naming conventions, and the ability to batch export as many files as you want.
