With advanced functions such as sound length control, support for high bit rates and most file formats, and automatic batch export, Varantic Pro has all the features that a working sound designer needs.
When your sound effect database has the right content, but you need more of a particular sound, reach for Varantic. Varantic’s state-of-the-art frequency analysis system is like nothing you’ve ever heard before. It pulls sound effect takes apart, analyzes them, recombinates them, and rebuilds them into new takes. For sounds like footsteps, destruction sounds, clothing sounds and the like, Varantic’s newly generated takes are virtually indistinguishable from the quality of the original takes.
Varantic Pro has already generated the sounds behind some of the biggest names in video games, film studios, and theme parks.
In addition to everything Varantic Indie does, Varantic Pro can generate realistic output sounds of a length that you specify, down to the millisecond. Or, it can generate sounds between a range of lengths that you specify. And it does this without any of the phasing or stretching artifacts that you might be used to, with lesser products.
Varantic Pro supports all the most common file formats and bit rates, including professional sampling rates all the way up to 384 kHz.
Get the job done right and get it done in record time with Varantic Pro.
The Output Properties panel lets you choose file format, bit rate, and output naming conventions to your taste and to your project’s needs.
In the Output Type panel, Varantic lets you choose many modern file formats, and lets you decide compression parameters within the tool. With Varantic, generating, auditioning, and compressing assets is done in a single step!
With the Sound Length pane, you can specify that you want your output sounds to be at a specific length in time, or you can specify an acceptable range of time. A great feature for those who need to sync sound effects to animation, or for anyone who has a need for precisely timed effects.
Different projects have different naming requirements for sound effects. With the Naming Convention panel, you can specify that new sound effects will be generated using your naming convention. This panel has presets for most common naming conventions, but if those don’t work for you, you can create a naming convention of your own.
With the Export feature, you can as many variations as you need in a seconds. Some sound designers prefer to generate a directory full of sounds this way, and then pick and choose from an abundance of results.
The Sources panel lets you see the duration of all the files you’ve dragged and dropped into Varantic. It’s handy for making sure you’ve provided the right input.
The Properties panel shows you all the details on your input files, without having to open them in a separate DAW.
You can audition your generated sounds right within Varantic. Press Play to generate a new sound; press Replay to hear the last sound again; and press Save to save the last sound to a file of your choice.
If you run a production studio and work exclusively on AAA content, or if you develop sound effects libraries, take a look at Varantic Studio. Varantic Studio allows batch scripting of the entire Varantic process, so that millions of high-quality sound effects can be automatically generated from within your development pipeline.
